Local and cloud information

Free sample records and photos are stored in your browser on the device where you create them. They are not uploaded to Sampleory cloud storage. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted. Signing into a Free account elsewhere does not restore local samples. Account details and sessions are separate from your sample data.

Paid workspaces store sample content and private photos on Cloudflare D1 and R2. Authorized members can access the shared workspace. Your browser caches records and photos you download for offline use. A removed member may retain previously cached information while disconnected; online access is rejected when they reconnect.

Processors and payments

Cloudflare provides hosting, storage, request protection and Turnstile verification. Stripe processes subscriptions through its hosted Checkout and Customer Portal; Sampleory does not receive card details. Resend is the configured transactional email adapter for verification, reset and invitation messages when enabled. These providers also process service and security information under their applicable privacy policies.

Usage tracking and sponsor cards

Sampleory does not collect anonymous usage event counts, use session replay, or create advertising profiles. Essential account cookies, local workspace storage and security controls support the service; they are not optional usage analytics.

Free workspaces may display one labeled first-party sponsor card at the bottom of the dashboard or list. There is no personalized targeting, advertising SDK or tracking pixel. Paid workspaces and offline sessions load no sponsor resources. An external sponsor site has its own privacy practices.

Exports and retention

You may permanently delete individual samples after confirmation. This removes the record and history from the active workspace and prevents restoration from Trash. Previously retained cloud backups and photo bytes expire under the backup retention schedule. Copies already exported or held on disconnected devices cannot be remotely erased.

You can export current fields as CSV or create a complete local archive with available photos. Free backups are user-triggered. Paid logical snapshots retain seven daily versions. Trash is restorable for 30 days; retained photos still count toward cloud storage usage.

After paid access ends, the owner has 30 days to read and export cloud data. Live content is then purged, and backups may retain it for up to 7 additional days. Account deletion revokes sessions and starts deletion of live content promptly; backups expire within seven days. Stripe may retain necessary financial records under its applicable policies and legal requirements.

Security and logs

Operational logs contain request identifiers, route names, status, timing and error codes, not sample payloads or credentials. Login sessions use protected cookies. Local offline data is a convenience and remains accessible to someone with access to the same browser profile. Export or clear data before sharing a device.

How we use and share information

Account information supports authentication, workspace membership, billing, service messages and support. Workspace content is processed to provide storage, synchronization, sharing and backup features you request. Security information helps prevent abuse and investigate failures. We do not sell sample content or use it for targeted advertising.

Information is shared with authorized workspace members, the service providers described above, or as necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights and investigate abuse. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Contact the operator for information about the providers and safeguards applicable to your account.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Requests may require identity verification. Legal retention obligations and other people's rights may limit a request. These rights are not waived by using Sampleory.

Use Settings to export data, manage local storage, sign out or request account deletion with fresh authentication. Contact the operator with privacy requests or questions that these controls do not resolve.

Policy changes
